About SAM Resolutions
Stuart Allen
I bring a diverse background that spans the armed forces, emergency services, running a business overseas and working as a senior manager overseeing large teams in an operational and a commercial setting. I am a CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution) accredited mediator.
These experiences have equipped me with the skills and qualities needed to offer a professional mediation service. One that fosters open, honest conversations, unites people, provides a safe, confidential space to talk, and guides parties toward mutual agreements they create and own.
I’ve seen first-hand how effective communication and active listening can help communities and businesses resolve issues and build collaborative environments where people and teams thrive.
This inspired me to create SAM Resolutions, with the goal of promoting mediation as a valuable life skill, helping businesses address workplace conflicts, strengthen cultures, and supporting communities in finding collaborative solutions.

Why Choose Mediation?
Mediation is a practical, respectful alternative to court that puts people back in control of resolving their disputes.
You stay in control - Unlike court proceedings, mediation allows the parties themselves to shape and agree the outcome. Because solutions are negotiated rather than imposed, agreements are often stronger, more realistic and longer‑lasting.

Confidential and without prejudice - Everything discussed in mediation is entirely private. Nothing said can be used later in court, allowing open and honest conversations without risk.

Voluntary and flexible - Either party can withdraw at any time, and mediation can take place at a time and location convenient to everyone involved.

Comfortable and supportive - Mediation avoids the stress of court. Parties usually have their own private rooms and are supported by a calm, impartial mediator throughout the process.

Fair and impartial - The mediator is independent and neutral, ensuring everyone is heard and treated fairly while guiding discussions towards a mutually acceptable agreement.

Quicker and more cost‑effective - Mediation can take place early and often resolves disputes far faster than litigation, significantly reducing legal costs and uncertainty.

Preserves relationships - By focusing on collaboration rather than conflict, mediation helps protect important personal, family or business relationships that litigation can permanently damage.
